January 14 and 21, 2023 - Discovering Your Ancestral Roots. Sponsored by the Clinton County Genealogical Society and the Clinton County Historical Society. Poorman Gallery. 9:00 a.m. - Noon. Cost is free. This is a two-part class teaching you how and where to access information and giving you an opportunity for hands-on application of this information in your own genealogical research.

March 12, 2023 - The History of Pennsylvania Forests. Poorman Gallery. 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Cost is free. Lynn Greenaway, Sproul Service Forester, speaks about our forests and how the native peoples and European immigrants used and managed the forests, resulting in the woodlands of today.
April:
April 29, 2023 - Wine in The Wilds. Clinton County Fairgrounds. 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Cost - $25.00 pre-event and $30.00 at the door. Wine tasting featuring Pennsylvania wines, a variety of vendors, music, and food trucks. Get your tickets at www.wineinthewilds.com.

May 14, 2023 - Ladies Day Tea Party. Heisey House Museum. 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Cost is free and reservations are required. Email info@clintonpahistory.org or call us at 570-748-7254. Mothers, daughters, grandmothers, granddaughters enjoy an afternoon of tea, cookies, and memories.
June:
June 11, 2023 - William Tell, the Crossbow and the Apple. Kliney's Furniture Store (2311 Woodward Avenue). 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Cost is free. Dennis Greenaway will speak on the history of the crossbow and his personal crossbow collection and will demonstrate the use of the crossbow. You can see the actual bow used in the movie, "Glass Onion, Knives Out" and witness the apple shot!
July:
July 9, 2023 - Fire Up the Furnace. Farrandsville, PA. 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Cost is free. Visit the first hot blast furnace in North America for the production of iron. Learn how the furnace worked. Help us preserve this historic property.

September 10, 2023 - Back to Barton Street School. Barton and Third St., Lock Haven. 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Cost is free. Visit the last one-room school located in the city of Lock Haven. Larry Ferree will be speaking on local dairies and the milk bottle collection.
October:
October (date to be determined), 2023 - Candlelight Tours of the Heisey House Museum. Time TBD. Cost TBD. Candlelight guided tours of the Heisey House by characters from our history.
December:
December 10, 2023 - Heisey Holiday Open House. Heisey House Museum and the Poorman Gallery. 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Cost is free. The Heisey House Museum and the Poorman Gallery will be open for community visitors. Light refreshments and a performance of "The Christmas Truce" from World War I.
