All events are free unless otherwise noted!
January 21: Annual Membership Meeting at 5 PM at the Poorman Gallery and via Zoom. In person attendees must wear a mask, use the hand sanitizer provided and practice social distancing. Members can e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for login information no later than Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Members can also e-mail us or stop by the Museum for a copy of any reports presented.
April 24: The 5th Annual Wine in the Wilds: Moved to August 21, 2021 - see below!
May 23: Pickin' and Singin' at the Poorman Gallery - 2 pm to 4 pm. Bring your acoustical guitar, fiddle, harmonica, etc. to an afternoon of pickin' tunes and singin' the old times songs.
Begin Commemorative Brick Campaign - Celebrating 100 Years of the Historical Society. Purchase a brick inscribed , “in honor of” or “in memory of” or any wording you desire for a 1921 charter member, family member, former director, officer, supporter or yourself.
June 12: History Time Henry at Riverview Park - Pavilion - 1 pm. Bring a lawn chair or blanket along with the kids to learn about history with this interactive theatre performance!
June 26: Best of Clinton County. Join us in celebrating the Best of Clinton County in downtown Lock Haven as we parade down Main Street celebrating our 100th year with vintage automobiles and period dress.
July 11: Farrandsville Furnace and CCC Camps in Clinton County at Farrandsville Furnace from 2-4 pm. See and hear the story of the first hot blast furnace in North America. Presentation by Rich Wykoff on the CCC Camps in Clinton County.
July 24: Castanea Community Day - Visit us as the 1941 Vintage Restored Caboose will be available for tours from 11 am to 3 pm as well as the Castanea Rail Road Station Station featuring the Clinton Central Model Railroad Club.
July 19: Museum Monday from 6 - 7:30 PM. Come find out "what's here?" as we inventory boxes at the Poorman Gallery All attendees can learn and help!
July 26-30: History Camp for kids from 9 am to 12 pm. Registration is open!
July 31- August 2: Visit us at the Clinton County Fair! We will have information on how to join as a member, upcoming events including our 100th year anniversary, as well as how to purchase a brick.
August 2: Museum Monday from 6 - 7:30 PM. Come find out "what's in the box" as we evaluate boxes from attic storage for repacking at the Poorman Gallery. All attendees can learn and help!
August 2: Monday Movie Night - The Kid - 8 PM - Heisey House Museum, Lawn at 8 PM. Free! Free popcorn while supplies last. Bring your blankets or lawn chairs.
August 5: Van Wagner Presents a Pennsylvania Heritage Program on the Lumber and Canal Eras of the Susquehanna River during the Clinton County Fair at 5 PM. This includes a live demonstration on raft building using vintage tools. This program is sponsored by the Clinton County Community Foundation.
August 9: Monday Movie Night - Buster Keaton Short Films - 8 PM - Heisey House Museum, Lawn at 8 PM. Free! Free popcorn while supplies last. Bring your blankets or lawn chairs.
August 16: Museum Monday from 6 - 7:30 PM. Come find out "what's in the box" as we evaluate boxes from attic storage for repacking at the Poorman Gallery. All attendees can learn and help!

August 21: The 5th Annual Wine in the Wilds: Wineries, vendors, and entertainment at the Clinton County Fairgrounds - 98 Racetrack Road, Mill Hall, PA. Tickets are $20 pre-sale, $25 at at the door, $10 designated driver!
August 30: Canceled - Monday Movie Night - The Sheik - 8 PM - Heisey House Museum, Lawn at 8 PM. Free! Free popcorn while supplies last. Bring your blankets or lawn chairs.
August 31: Commemorative Brick Campaign - Last day to purchase a brick!
September 4 and 5: Visit us during the Labor Day Regatta for tours of the Heisey House Museum from 1 to 3 pm.
September 12: Back to Barton Street School - One Room School - Open House from 2-4 PM. Visit a one room school house with displays that include a vintage post office and telephone exchange, fire company memorabilia and items from the Black Knights award winning band. As the school year begins, we honor the teachers who taught in one room school houses long ago. Bring a memory of your unforgettable teacher to share!
September 24: Membership Tea: Invitation only to celebrate our membership during the 100th year celebration.
October 10: A Brief History of the Barton Street School at the Poorman Gallery at 2 PM. LHU Library Director Joby Topper will present a slide lecture on the Barton Street School, also known as the old Allison Township Schoolhouse. Topper hopes that people who attended this school, or who used the old schoolhouse playground, will attend the lecture and share their memories.
October 17: 100th Year Celebration Banquet - Elks Lodge, Lock Haven, PA. Gala dinner featuring speaker Thomas Tank Baird, historian and expert on the early native cultures of our area. More information on how to attend forthcoming.
October 28 and 29: Candle Light Tours of the Heisey House Museum. More information to come!
November 14: Join us for an Antiques Road Show of Native Artifacts with Thomas Tank Baird from 2-4 PM at the Poorman Gallery. Attendees are invited to bring any native American artifacts they have. Mr. Baird will impart his knowledge of them.
November 20: Victorian Photo Sessions - by appointment at the Heisey House Museum. Budget Artist has partnered with the Clinton County Historical Society for 15 minute mini-photo sessions. To sign up, email email@example.com or call 570-748-7254.

December 12: : Holiday Open House Celebration with the Clinton County Genealogical Society at the Heisey House Museum and Poorman Gallery from 2-4 PM. Join both societies for refreshments and seasonal entertainment at the decked out boughs of holly at Heisey House Museum and Poorman Gallery as we celebrate another successful year.
